Obsessive compulsive disorder anxiety comes and goes in people’s lives and for the unfortunate ones it likes to stay around and linger wreaking havoc in their lives and the lives of their loved ones around them. Is there a difference between general anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder anxiety? You better believe it! I had general anxiety for a long time before I ever developed the habit of OCD. OCD is simply a set of habits that we use the term Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to describe.

These habits are actions in an attempt to control or influence events. The counter intuitive part about OCD is that in order to get control, you must first let go of it! Really go back and think about that. If you really want to get the control back in your life that you desire, you must be willing to let it go and after that you must actually let it go. This will cause what we call a paradigm shift or a new way of thinking and you will have no troubles in getting rid of your OCD, in fact if you really do this well, you will see your OCD melt away.

Now of course there is the matter of keeping your obsessive compulsive disorder anxiety away! You need to know that just like any habit, there is a chance of relapse, but if you learn the mental skills that you need to learn, you won’t have to worry about this because it will be virtually impossible for it to come back! You see, I’ve been OCD free for years now and whenever something that I perceive as major happens in my life I get tempted to go back into the old habit patterns, however I don’t give in and I can literally dispel the thoughts within seconds.

We all know that when you do something a lot, you get better at it! Well OCD can never come back in my life because I have a different view of it. Just like someone who used to be a smoker, are they still a smoker if they don’t smoke cigarettes? No, this is the same thing no matter whatever anyone who got their degree from reading books will tell you. I got real world experience baby! I don’t care how smart you think you are, when it comes to OCD, I want to teach you what I know so that you don’t have to suffer with this useless malady anymore!

Of course you could always go to a therapist or psychologist or psychiatrist and see how well that works for you. When it doesn’t, you will find me, in fact that is most of my clients find me. They tell me they’ve been seeing a therapist for years with no results! How sad, and does the therapist give you your money back if you do what they say but it doesn’t work? No! Did you know that some of my clients told me that their therapist told them, “I can’t help you!” Wow, they obviously don’t know what kind of effect that has on the mind of someone who has obsessive compulsive disorder anxiety!
